I Support my HOA! Advocates Rally in Austin

Members of the CMA staff and HOA board members joined hundreds of homeowners, board members, business owners and others at the Texas Capitol on February 12 to strongly support their community associations. They came from across the state to meet with their State Representatives and Senators and deliver a clear message….WE SUPPORT OUR HOAs!

A sea of HOA supporters wearing red clothing held up colorful signs and representatives spoke to the assembled media. They also visited personally with many state lawmakers.

Following these visits, individual supporters commented:

(Our Representative) "was very appreciative that we took time out of our schedules to share our ideas and thoughts with the people making the laws."

"I felt like I contributed to a positive impact and had an opportunity to support the collective efforts of TCAA and other homeowners.  It was great to be a part of a group of people from all over Texas that came together to have a unified voice."

Texas Community Association Advocates (TCAA) serves as the voice of those involved in community association living on legislative and regulatory matters and provides education on best practices throughout the state.
